Basketball
The Our Lady's Academy Basketball Program is comprised of both boys & girls with three teams of combined grades: Team 1 -- 1st and 2nd grade; Team 2 -- 3rd and 4th grade; Team 3 -- 5th and 6th grade. New this year is 3-on-3 competition open to 5th through 8th grade on Wednesday nights.
Games are held on some Saturdays and Sunday afternoons for Teams 1, 2, and 3. Check the online Calendar for game times and opponents. Check below for directions to other schools.
Basketball practice is held in the gym on Saturdays starting November 14:
9-10 am Grades 1 & 2
10-11:30 am Grades 3 & 4
11:30-1 pm Grades 5 & 6
Basketball practice (gr. 3-4) and 3-on-3 competition (for gr. 5-8) is held on Wednesdays:
5-6 pm Grades 3 & 4

| Middle School children can join the Oh! LA Players' Theatre Club and begin rehearsing for "The Middle School Variety Show" during the fall semester. This new drama club, run by Mrs. Hurston, begins on Oct. 5, with a performance planned for Dec. 23, 2009. Please see the flyer for more information. Permission slips must be returned by Wed., Sept. 23. Children in grades 3 through 5 will start in the Spring semester. |
Our Lady's Chamber Singers
| Mrs. Bobbie Hoffmann, our new music teacher, is starting a chamber singers group for Middle School students. This ensemble is designed to provide an experience in rehearsal and public performance of choral music and will be performing a cappella and accompanied works from all musical periods: classical, sacred, pop, R&B, and Broadway musicals. Sessions will run for 11 Fridays, beginning on Sept. 18, with a performance planned for Dec. 11, 2009. Please see the flyer for more information. |
