Greetings from 3A and 3B! We have been busily working on finishing up our end-of-year academics and activities. Boy, how time flies! The Fractured Fairy Tales that students just finished required them to choose their favorite classic fairy tale and fracture or change it up a bit to make it their own. fractured_fairy_tales.jpgA few titles we have this year from the students are Cinderninja, The Three Little Staplers and the Big Red Scissor, and GoldiSOX.

Not only have the students written and published their very own works of literature, they have created, with the help of their families, houses that demonstrate the settings of their stories.

Third grade is also working on finishing up their year-end final exams. The third graders are given 3 cumulative final exams in Religion, Math, and Grammar. We have prepared for these all year, and the kids will do great! We are so proud of all our third graders in demonstrating their consistent work ethic and dedication to their studies. Way to go, kiddos!

On June 16th, the third grade is taking a field trip to the Boston State House for a private tour! We may even get lucky and have our favorite Representative, and Waltham's very own, Tom Stanley join us! Right after we leave the State House, we will go on a Boston Duck Tour! What a great way to end the year, touring the great city of Boston, which is so important to our entire nation's history! How lucky we are to see it first-hand.

We wish all of the Our Lady's students, parents, faculty, administration, and church community a very happy and safe summer!
