Curriculum & Enrichment

Explore the possibilities of a 21st century Catholic education

A Values-Based, Innovative Curriculum

Our curriculum focuses on the development of the whole child, emotionally, socially, cognitively, physically and spiritually. Education is geared to the specific learning needs of each student.

We use the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) assessment program 3x per year, which provides our classroom teachers with information about each student's instructional level. The results of these assessments guide the teachers in selecting the appropriate teaching material for each child so that they receive targeted instruction. In most instances, students are reading above grade level and many are also placed in our Advanced Math program.

We use technology as a tool where appropriate, including boards, personal devices (Bring-Your-Own-Device) and iPads. The Middle School (grades 6-8) utilizes Google Classroom, as well as several online textbooks.

Our curriculum includes:

  • Language Arts, including leveled Guided Reading program
  • Mathematics, including the Advanced Math option beginning in 4th grade
  • Science, including lab work in our science lab (new 2016-2017)
