Please use EFT to pay for weekly and monthly collections, and participate in in-parish tuition. Fill out the EFT Form and send it to the parish office.
We use the Scrip fundraising program at Our Lady's to will help fund trips, purchase new computer equipment and obtain other items we need for the school. “Scrip,” which actually means "substitute money," is better known as gift cards from national and local retailers. These are the same gift cards that you buy at the store.
Scrip participating retailers agree to sell gift certificates to our organization at a discount. Member families like yours buy the certificates for full face value and they redeem them for full face value.

Do you shop at Hannaford? Have you received a "Hannaford Helps Schools Certificate"? If so, please drop them in the Our Lady's Academy slot as you exit the store. To assure our school gets credit for the certificate, please write "Our Lady's Academy, Waltham MA" on the back of the certificate. You may also send them into school. Just pop them in an envelope and mark it "Attention: PTO-Hannaford Helps." All proceeds will benefit the Our Lady's PTO. Please tell your family and friends who shop at Hannaford about this program! For the fourth year in a row, Our Lady’s Academy is partnering with Wilson Farm of Lexington for a Pie Fundraiser just in time for Thanksgiving. It is one stop shopping for all your favorite pies and Our Lady’s Academy will benefit, too! There are many delicious pies to choose from – there’s something for everyone’s taste buds! Over the last three years, we have raised over $2300.00 for Our Lady’s Academy through this fundraiser.
This year, we will continue our support of the Salvation Army Food Pantry through this Pie Fundraiser. Last year, through the generosity of Our Lady’s Academy families, we were able to deliver 22 pies to The Salvation Army. They serve Thanksgiving dinner to many people in need and also, send home gift baskets of food to enjoy with their clients. If you would like to donate a pie to the Salvation Army Food Pantry, you can purchase one by choosing a pie on the pre-entered line on the order form for the “Salvation Army Food Pantry”, include the price in your payment and we will make sure it gets delivered to the Food Pantry for you (an OLA parent has volunteered to coordinate this effort and deliver the pies to the Salvation Army). This is completely optional. Thank you in advance for your support of the Salvation Army for such a worthy cause!
It’s easy to order. Each family will receive a Pie Fundraiser Seller’s Order Form. Pick out the pies you would like to buy (the price is $15.00 for each pie) and fill in the number of pies you’d like to order. There is plenty of room to add friends and family members to your list, too! Feel free to add additional order sheets if you need to do so. The more pies that are sold, the more money Our Lady’s Academy makes! Complete the seller’s order form and return to school with a check for the total amount for the pies made out to Our Lady’s Academy by Tuesday, November 12. Put your order, along with your payment, in an envelope marked “Pie Fundraiser” and send it in to the school office.
The pies will be ready for pick up from OLA in the cafeteria from 2 – 5 PM on Monday, November 25. We can make no guarantees for pie orders received after Tuesday, November 12. There will be no additional pies available for purchase on the day of pick-up without a pre-order. (It is important to note that the pies are frozen, so most will need to be cooked, while a few will need to be thawed before serving.) It is best to pick up the pies as early as possible on November 25. Do you shop online? If so, www.mamasource.com is a daily deal site you won't want to miss! Sign up for free to receive daily deals, then click on Savings for Schools and select "Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted School". Whenever you purchase a daily deal, Mamasource will set aside 5% of the purchase price for OLA.
Schools can use the money anyway they want – for books, classroom supplies, field trips, reading programs – anything that can use extra funding. Checks will be mailed out once each year when the threshold reaches a minimum of $75. Any funds under that amount will automatically carry over into the next school year.
If you have been holding on to your bottles and cans, you can drop them off at the Waverley Recycling Center located at 23 Summer Avenue, Waltham. The hours of operation are: M-F 9-4pm and Sat 8:30-3:30pm.
When dropping off your recyclables, be sure to separate glass items in a box for safety and state you are making a donation for Our Lady’s Academy.
