School Consultative Board


The role of the School Consultative Board is to advise the Pastor and the Principal in planning, policy development, finance, public relations, and marketing.

The School Board is comprised of both school parents and members of Our Lady’s Parish. The general parent community elects three of the parent representatives. The Pastor appoints the other three.

The School Board is also tasked with raising funds to assist with the operating budget of Our Lady's Academy. There is an established fundraising schedule with several major events planned (Texas Hold 'em Tournament, March Madness, and the Auction/Super Raffle).
 
The School Board meetings for the 2011-2012 will be at 6:30 pm in the Common Room. The dates will be listed on the calendar. The first half hour of the meeting is open to all parents. If you have an issue or concern that you would like addressed but cannot attend a meeting, your concerns may be relayed through one of the Parent Liaisons (email them at parentliaison@ourladysacademy.org). The liaisons will represent your issue at the next scheduled meeting of the School Board.
