Amali Antonyraj

Computer Teacher

I have been married for almost 17 years and blessed with twin daughters who are Alumni of Our Lady’s Academy . I achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and and a Post Graduate Degree in Computer Applications. Besides computers, I am passionate about cooking, arts and crafts, and trying new creative ,healthy recipes. I also enjoy art work..

I believe children are unique and have their own potential. I believe teachers play a major role in bringing the children up to their potential not just in academics but also as a good people. I will work with the children to develop their computer skills and encourage them to have faith in God and themselves. I will also help them to develop good behaviors and disciplines to become responsible, respectable people.

I wish for my students to keep their faith and laugh. I am also determined to have them succeed in order for them to achieve God’s plan for them. The rest will fall in place.

Jacqueline Ashba

Religion, PreK-3

It has been a joy and privilege to serve in my dual-role at Our Lady’s Academy since 2013, as Religion teacher for the primary grades, and as Director of the After School Program.

I received my B.A. at Clark University, with a double major in Biology and Economics. I pursued graduate studies in Public Health and Medical Sciences at Boston University School of Public Health and School of Medicine (MPH/MA). Once I became a mother, I had a change of path to study my Catholic faith in greater depths, so that I could pass it on to my children. I received a Master degree in Lay Ministry at St. John’s Seminary Theological Institute in Boston.

I firmly believe in Catholic education, as my two sons, who are graduates of Our Lady’s Academy, are now attending Catholic high school. In my free time, I enjoy baking and taking family trips to Maine.

Italian Teacher

This is a great community. When I teach Italian I feel at home, I like to share my language, my culture, my traditions with students. Learning a language is a sharing experience that can help kids to develop compassion for people from other countries.
