Environment

The curriculum for each Early Learners classroom is taught by two and sometimes three teachers and is presented in a cheerful, modern, updated environment in order to enable teachers and students to perform at their best. Our nurturing atmosphere allows even our littlest students to feel welcome and safe. Each classroom is organized and structured to support collaboration and conversation between student to student and teacher to students. Students learn how to share and to collaborate on hands-on projects that engage the students through music, dance and song, this conversation about the concepts being studied supports the philosophy that students learn from one another while being guided by the teacher.

Each Early Learner’s classroom is studded with round colorful tables and matching chairs all painted in a mixture of primary colors. The meeting area, the place where the morning meeting and much learning takes place, is sectioned off with a state-of –the- art SMART board, a colorful rug and book cases that hold a plethora of books of many levels and genres.

The students’ classroom environment also extends out onto the newly renovated playground that is comprised of astro-turf over six inches of padding, new developmentally appropriate play structures and riding toys. Beyond this we offer:
