Our Lady’s Difference

Everyday, we step into classrooms full of wide eyes, hopeful hearts, and infinite imaginations. Thanks to our small class sizes and dedicated teachers and specialists, we’re able to listen and pay close attention to the small yet telling moments in the daily life of a child. Ultimately, this allows us to deliver a more personalized, faith-based education that allows each child to explore their potential, learn at their own pace, and find their true voice. By creating an environment of empathy, optimism, Catholic values and genuine joy, Our Lady’s Academy sets the stage for bright, shining futures.
Primary School, Grades K – 2 • Instilling a passion for lifelong learning
Research shows that the first five years of a child’s life are a critical period for setting the foundation for long-term academic success. With this in mind, our teachers never underestimate a child’s ability to learn, develop, problem solve and rise to new challenges, even from the earliest ages.
In our inspired, respectful classrooms, preschoolers gain the skills and learning habits they need to become successful Kindergarteners, while our K through 2 students start to build the specialized skills and knowledge they need to become independent learners.
Our Primary School program incorporates:
- A focus on exploration and discovering through teamwork
- Experiential and Inquiry-based learning
- Differentiated instruction throughout the curriculum
- Cooperative and Independent Learning
- A respect for diversity and different learning styles
- Enrichment and engagement specialty fields, such as robotics, technology and coding through a STEM curriculum
- The study of a foreign language
